Wicked Cool Workshop Make and Takes…

    Ciao Bella,

I'm still on my Halloween roll..Today I thought I would share my Make and Takes for September Workshops…They are so much fun…

I'm just loving 3×3 note cards these days…and I couldn't help but do a good, better, best with them too…

The first one…the "good" one is super simple, I used the Spooky stamp from the Wicked Cool Stamp Set ( 120600)pg.23 in the Idea Book and Catalog, and the Large Oval Punch (119855) on pg. 203 and the NEW Decorative Label Punch form the NEW HOLIDAY MINI CATALOG…That you can purchase from TOMORROW !!!!!

Now or the "Better" 3X3 note card is the same a the previous card I just added a strip of Presto Patterns Specialty Designer Series Paper ( 117175) pg. 172, in the IB&C. I just love this paper, and I loved the way it came out sponging it with with creepy Halloween colors…

For the "Best" one I Stamped and cut out the witches boots image and added the New Way Too Cool Designer Jewels Black Flourish(120987)pg.8 in the New Holiday Mini Catalog.

Aren't these fun and perfect for fun little notes in the office or even adding a person's name and you have a perfect little place card for your Halloween Party…

Now I have a little Challenge for you today…As I said I love the look of the Presto Patterns Designer Series paper sponged in Halloween…Take a look …

Isn't soo soo cool, I want to create a scrapbook page using this and the Wicked Cool Stamp but I am stuck…So My Challenge to you is … what can you do …. Create a scrap page , using the Presto Pattern Designer Series Paper and the Wicked Cool Stamp Set… and for all participants I will feature your projects here on my blog…and the one I love the best … I will use at my September Workshops…..

I still have dates available for September Workshops. So while you are creating your Spooky Scrapbook think of a date that works for you to hold a workshop and I could be featuring your Designs ….

Contact me Today to set up your workshop….and don't forget the Holiday Mini Catalog Starts tomorrow …We will have a wicked good time …

    Ok here we go…..

Is this not a fun Card, those witches boots almost look like a flower…don't they? I used the Wicked Cool Stamp Set ( 120600) on pg 23 in the IB&C, of course the sweet Treat Cups (116802) on pg. 170 in the IB&C. And Now from the New HOLIDAY MINI CATALOG that will be released on Wednesday September 1 st…. just 2 more days … I can't wait…Ok back to the supplies…Champagne Glass Glitter (120997) pg. 21 in the New Holiday Mini Catty, Raven Lace Trim ( 120988) and Waffle Paper (120985) and both of those are on pg. 8 in the New Holiday Mini Catty. I also gave the whole card a spritz of Silver Foil Smooch Spritz( 118771) pg. 195 in the IB&C…This card,… I can't go on enough how much fun it was to make, the picture just doesn't show really how great it is…

Now … Saturday, I posted a Scrapbook Page that kinda took on a Spooky Life of it's own ….and I have had some request for more pictures of the details … so here is a photo of the page again and some detail pictures …enjoy

    Trick Or Treat Decor Style-

    Ciao Bella,

I started working on designing some scrapbook pages for my upcoming classes…and I started with the Halloween layouts for my class Scrapbooking For the Holidays on November 13th…This class has a 2 page layout for each Holiday:Halloween, Fall and Christmas..and since I have been in a Halloween mood lately I thought I would design those pages…..Ok well, let me tell you….that didn't happen, or at least not what I had in mind…..It took on a life of it's own….and now …..well … just take a look…

See I told you …It just took on a life of it's own …and it's now too big to put in an album….. so now I have to either mount it on canvas or find a deep set 12 x 12 picture frame…..

Anyway let tell you about some of the elements on the project…The "flower" in the center I made with the Newsprint Designer Series Paper( 117166) on pg. 175 in the IB&C and the new Decorative Label Punch from the soon to be released Holiday Mini catalog and you can't see it very well but there is champagne colored Glass Glitter also from the Holiday Mini…not to mention the Raven Lace Trim…Now here is where it got funky… and left the normal scrapbook page world..

.I had some of the new Spooky Things Decor Elements, and they were a little too big for what I was thinking…and they were sitting on my desk ,,,and the "trick or treat" just screamed at me to be on the page…and then the spider kept saying "me too"… Okay , not really but you know what I mean…The New Waffle Paper made a perfect layer for both…..a little tearing and it has that creepy feel…..added a few Bats using the new Bat Punch (119279) pg 200 in the IB&C and that's when I called it done…though I could add a few more thing …but that just might be over kill then

I normally would not have thought to use Decor Elements on a scrapbook page…it still kinda gets me … who knew…

If you haven't received your Holiday Mini Catalog yet , please let me know so I can get one to you.

I also have added a listing of all my classes through the end of the year, on my classes and events page…

Feel free to contact me if I can serve you in anyway

Let me know what you think of this over top scrapbook page and leave a comment…

    Have a great weekend …

How to make a Pin Cushion Button Jar

    Ciao Bella,

I just can't stop making these pin cushion button jars…and by all the emails I have received, you all are enjoying them as well…I have also received many emails asking how I made them or where I found my jars…First let me say that I'm not the first to make pretty decorated jars…

ok back to your questions…. what kind of jars are they and where did I get them … The jars are just plain everyday day Canning jars used for jams and jellies in different sizes and shapes. The small jars I got at my local grocery store in the canning section…Now for the larger or different shaped jars, that's a little more difficult. They are left overs from when I was on a canning kick back when I lived in Italy and Germany…But even then I found these jars in the local grocery stores as well…the one brand that I have found no matter what country I was in was Ball…so I'm pretty sure they would have a Website.

For the what I used to stuff the pin cushion … I used plain old Polly-Fill found at Walmart. Polly-Fill is pillow stuffing and just 1 bag will last a long time….

Here is another one I made yesterday, with of course another sneak peak at the new Designer Series Fabric

The reason why I made another one besides they are so much fun to make…Is so I could make a tutorial for you…The tutorial is FREE, I just ask that you use the honor system if you use it for anything more than your personal use….

So just Click Here for the FREE Tutorial

If you should need any of the Stampin' Up! Supplies I'm here to assist you that too.

I hope you enjoy the Tutorial and If you have any questions please feel free to contact me …..

    Silhouette Sentiments Masculine Gift Set

    Ciao Bella,

Remember I shared with you some 3×3 note cards using Silhouette Sentiments Hostess Stamp Set…They were more on the manly side…well… I had a little thought…Me thinking …scary… what if I made it into a gift set…There are always men at the office and you are not quite sure what to get…

    Here is your answer

I added a few tags, a mini pen, and of course just a little chocolate, and WOW… what a great gift….Now there is no excuses for men not having proper manners…or not having a card  or tag …When I worked in an office, their idea of a thank you note was a stickey post-it on my computer screen. I just love the simplicity of these tags…

    Here is a close up…

And Just incase you need a little reminder of what the note cards looked like

There are some sneak peeks in those tags…..two new punches and will be available September 1, in the Holiday Mini Catalog

Again if you have not received your Holiday Mini Catalog, let me know , so I can get one to you

as always please leave a comment, so I know what your favorites are and I can create something just for you…

It is so beautiful, I just want to hoard it …..it will be hard but I do have some plans for this fabric.. you just wait and see …

Vintage Gifts with Stampin’ Up Crochet Trim

    Ciao Bella,

Wow that summer cold that took me out last week…was one Monster of a cold… I thought I was feeling good enough to go to the Farmer's Market…boy was I wrong…It set me back all weekend…..Ok enough of the whinny …I was able to create a little gift…Now I didn't come up with this all by myself… A Stampin' Up sister demo, did the original …this is just my take on her idea…..In any case  it is still a wonderful gift ideal….

    Take a look

Aren't they the cutest…. They are pin cushions jars…..the tops of the jar is a pin cushion and the jar it self could be filled with buttons, brad, ribbon scraps, candy…or anything you can think of …

This one features the New Big Designer Button from the up coming Holiday Mini Catalog and

    Basic Pearls(119247)pg. 188 in the IB&C….

Ok I have to admit I went a little crazy, I just couldn't stop adding the Designer Button on pg 186 in the IB&C and More of those Basic Pearls…I was just having so much fun ….

Here is a more vintage feel with the new Antique Brads(117273) on pg 187 of the IB&C and the New Victoria 5/8' Crochet Trim(118481) on page 190 in the IB&C

This last one, has to be my favorite, again with the Victoria Crochet Trim(118481) and the Antique Brads (117273)…

Wouldn't these be a great gift…for the sewing friend of course but was about your child's teacher…she could keep a roll of sticker in it or  maybe some binder clips…or your co-worker, to keep paper clips or rubber bands …or in a bathroom to hold some bath salts….

I would love to show you how to make these, just email me and we can have a private class or get a group of friends together and have a party….

Look at the Raven Lace ( 120988) pg 8 of the NEW HOLIDAY MINI Catty to be released September 1st. Then of course there is this NEW Champagne Glass Glitter( 120997) pg 21 in the Soon to be released holiday mini catalog…Don't you just love it … I love all things shinny but not really a glitter girl… but with this soon to be released glitter… I think I'm in Love…It can go from Spooky to Vintage with just a twitch of a witches nose…

    Silhouettes on a roll…

    Ciao Bella,

I have been on a roll with this Silhouette Sentiments( Free Hostess Set pg 11) stamp set…Usually I'm all about the girly vintage or the super clean and simple…but I have found this stamp set really versatile…and it lends it self to al sorts of creative moods…Yesterday I mentioned  how great this set was for transitioning from summer to fall…so yesterday I showed you bright colors, today it's a much more fall feel and do I dare to say Masculine as well…

    Take a look…

These 3 X 3 note cards are super simple and not a girly flower or heart in sight…I think any male would love to receive these and possibly even give these as well. There is a definite shortage of cards for a man to give in the Thank You category… it seams their only option is basic white with a only a thank you stamped on the front…

This note features just basic stamping and a little Sponging in Early Espresso Classic Ink (119670) pg 169 in the IB&C. It also features the new brads that look like tiny metal buttons, these can be found in the Vintage Trinkets (118764) pg 187 in the IB&C…

On this note card all I did was leave off the Bling….and change the card stock color from Early Espresso to Night of Navy

On this last close up the only change here was the Card Stock Color Is now Crumb Cake and I added a little piece of Linen Thread ( 140199) pg 190 in the IB&C, to give it a little more texture…

Wouldn't a set of thesee be a great gift at the office for anybody…..These are so easy easy to make that even a 1st time stamper can make these and bask in the glow of "you made these"…..

If you would like to learn to make these, I would love to show you how  or if you need any of the supplies needed to make this just email me and we can something set up ….

Here is a card I made up for a customer, using the new color Marina Mist…..there also is a sneak peek if the NEW Oval Punch that will be featured in the Holiday Mini Catalog Starting Sept 1st. Here is a set of 3×3 note cards, this time I used Daffodil Delight Card Stock. This little set would make a perfect little gift for a co- worker. This stamp set is not one I would go for right away, but after playing with it yesterday and seeing just how great this set is … there are all sorts of ideas that keep popping into my head….
