are you ready to see a sneak peek of some of the page layouts?…….

In this Holiday Extravaganza…..everything will be cut and scored for you….with a packet of direction with Photos of every layout …..and there are 14 layouts…..and notice …there isn't any bling … you will get your own set of bling …..to do or place where ever YOU want…..I will have a sample of this book with bling at the camp …for those who would rather not have to think…..I like to give every one their choice of personalization ….
So be on the look out for more pictures of different projects and the other good stuff …..

Paisley Petals Recycled Bank
Ciao Bella,
I have been trying to think of away to save money for my trip to the Stampin' Up Convention next year AND save Money for My High School Senior ….who's Senior trip is 10 days in Europe….10 days at $2500.oo, plus all the other senior costs…..so this is what I came up with …..

I washed out a 12 oz Plastic Coke Bottle and dressed it up with some In Color Designer Series paper and some Paisley Petals Designer Series paper and added a little ribbon…..Now I can't remember if it is a 16 oz or the 20 oz plastic bottle but either case … if you fill it with dimes …when it full you should have roughly $300… give or take …..
So I thought that was a neat little trick and I always have Plastic beverage bottles….so I thought I would be a little greener and make my new bank as pretty as possible…..So I then decieded I needed a reminder on my Bank to help keep me motivated …..

So I added a tag… just some punches and a hand written label ….. too stinkin cute… who wouldn't remember to save with a cute reminder bank like this …
Oh yeah …. for those of you who would be interested in Sponsoring my son … email me and I will send you the information needed….
Thanks for dropping by today

Scrapbooking Best Friends Forever
Ciao Bella,
I haven't done a scrapbook page in a while and i was thinking it was about time…And on one of the Stampin' Up Demo Professional groups I belong to , they had a layout in their Weekly Scrapbooking Challenge that really just …spoke to me…I instantly know what to create…..so here it is …..

I used the Best Friends Forever Stamp Set, it is awesome for creating scrapbooks …take the BFF out and you could have an entire album done …all you would have to do is change up some of the bling and placement of the pictures ….I bet you could ….really….

Here is a little close up …. I used only In- Colors…Pool Party, Island Indigo, Cameo Coral, Lucky Limeade, and Poppy Parade, and I also used Glimmer Brads…I also used the Two Tags Die for my bigshot to create my photo mats….Since I was using such vibrant colors but still wanting a vintage-ish feel …I used confetti White Card Stock…..as my base …..

This stamp set is so versatile …. I made a matching card…..Did I tell you … I used vanilla Smooch Spritz on both the page and the card … it is my favorite for sparkle…..actually …..my whole desk is covered in Smooch Spritz…..because I'm too lazy ….I just move paper and stuff out of the way …and spritz away…..Some days you would think I was part of the Twilight cast , because somehow I get it all over me including my face…lol
Ok back to the card…the same elements ….almost the same focal point ….again this could a thank you card or a birthday card …just change the BFF to what ever your heart desires…..
Now BIG Reminders …….Tomorrow …Tomorrow …Tomorrow
yep the BUY 3 get 1 free ENDS TOMORROW !!!!!!!
STampin Up campaign Against Breast Cancer ENDS TOMORROW!!!!!!!
YEP ….. the Summer Mini Catty Ends TOMORROW ….
So it time to get those things you have been putting Off …….It's Now or Never ……….
all you have to do is click my Shop now button …. you don't even have to get dressed …stay in your PJs….but you still need to just get before it's gone ….
See you tomorrow

Let Your Freak Flag Fly…..
Ciao Bella,
When I was at the Stampin Up Region we were challenged to make our creativity a priority….creativity is something everyone has whether they think so or not …Believe it or not … most people think I'm creative… I am not so much…on average it takes me anywhere from 2-4 hours to design a card or scrap page….longer if I'm doing an artsy fartsy project…..Now lucky for me, making cards for workshops, cards that the new to stamping can do ….those come much easier to me…and they are some of my favorite cards to make…no brain power required…lol I think of it as cards … you…my customer want to make…and CAN make on your own…everyone enjoys looking at the fancy smancy stuff, but when It comes right down to it…we are always most comfortable with what we can …with a stretch out side the line …here and there…..
Before I move on let tell you a little secret…and for the few of you I have met you can testify to this…. I suck and language and grammar…..and writing a blog every day is all about that…..so I got creative and stayed true to me ….and write my blog as if I'm actually having a chat with you … yep…this is pretty much how I speak…a little all over the place…a little rambly…and I also think spell check is the great invention to man kind…lol…..So Today I'm letting my Freak Flag Fly ….
So Back to this challenge Stampin Up gave me..
".Creativity and making it a priority in your life, not an "extra". Not only is having creative time fun, but it is good for your health. It is a good stress reliever and release. She indicated that everyone is creative, even if you don't think you are. The more you work at it, the more creative you will be.
Carrie demonstrated a creative journal she's been working on and a list of activities to do with the journal to help boost creativity.
- She stressed not trying to do things in order, but randomly. Don't necessarily start at the beginning of the book, but somewhere in the middle or at the back.
- Don't over think the activities, just do them.
- Don't compare your journal to anyone else's. There is no right or wrong way.
- There is no such thing as a do-over. Do not remove pages; there are no mistakes.
Here is a picture of the SU staff, showing a page of there Journal …

I have to admit I didn't get a good photo of this …but lucky for you a sister Demo Debbie N. got this great shot and I'm borrowing it …..
so here is what they gave us…..
a 5 x5 on board art journal, card stock, linen thread, and the new baby clothes pins…and of course directions on how to make the cover Donna Griffith made… well ….I loved donna Flower and such by it's not quite me and it wouldn't be a creative challenge if Copied hers…So I am going to let me FREAK FLAG FLY again…and design my own ….
SO … for the next few months every Friday, I'm going to show you how my creative challenge is going…..
You might have noticed I keep saying Freak Flag Fly… To me ….everybody has a little something that is different and unique to them…and that is what makes each person special …and allot of times people try and hide it …. but I say let it fly….freak might not be the best word choice for everybody but it is for me…
So Let the Freak Flag Fly on Fridays…..perfect for getting your Silly on ….on Saturdays don't you think…
Have a great weekend

Ciao Bella,
What a weekend… it was just one OMG moment after another….and meeting to many of my sister demos/ blog lurkers…all the wonderful things you all had to say…truly touched my heart…If it wasn't so shocked ,,,I think I would have cried…lol So thank you …it meant so much to me….So now I'm going to ask you a little favor….leave a comment once in a while … Sometimes I think I'm only blogging for myself …lol
Ok … Usually at Stampin Up events Shelli the Company CEO/Founder is always available for photos or a quick chat… but the lines for this are so long ….like an hour or more…that I never really inclined to that… But here in Charlotte…it was such a small group, that the line was only a few minutes and we were able to a little more than a meet and great ….you felt like you really got to spend some time with Shelli…..
here is a photo of me and Shelli, now I need to warn you …I don't photograph well …so be warned …

Did I not warn you so …I look like a star struck goof ball…..we won't even go into my new Diet that I'm starting …lol
this weekend was non stop and with all big crowd gather places …the Germs…I think I have come down with a little bug …so I'm off to get some rest …..

Ciao Bella,
Last Sunday was my 18th wedding anniversary to my very sweet prince of a husband …and to celebrate 18 years ….. I made a little Scrap page …that will eventually get framed …..
Are you ready to see me in a picture? I know …..Me showing pictures of myself is very rare…..
.jpg)
I know pretty scary…..I look at the photo from 1993, taken 3 days before we got married and it was taken by his stepmother ….who I just met with his father about an hour before the picture was taken …..anyway… I look at that picture and think … Who in the World are those kids…and are they old enough to get married? lol…..
I used the Notable Ornate Stamp Set ….. and the Size of the page is new to me at 8 x 8, but Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, were the main colors …with some Pretty in Pink accents… Some victoria lace and Baja breeze seem binding ribbon …just for fun …..and of course it wouldn't be me …if I didn't have pearls and rhinestones… Even with all the girly stuff … my husband loves the page …and it was his idea to frame it …..
Here is just a quick look at a card I design using Mr. Snail , from button buddies… this card was a reject for the FREE CLASS I'm Having on August 23 and 24th …..

Snips and Snails
ciao Bella,
Snips and snails and Puppy dog tails … Isn't that what they say little boys are made of …not today
.jpg)
I've been working my way through each image in the Button Buddies Stamp Set…This little snail is almost as cute as the little piggy…The snail image can work simply by itself or can be a cute accent in a nature inspired card …
I'll I did here was just stamp the little guy and add a button from our Brights Collection of buttons… Just in case you haven't heard it enough … this stamp set is designed to go with Stampin' Up's Button Collections
I did add two little brads from the Brights collection as well, …just for some added pop…
This time I just stamp my image and punched it out, then using the 5 petal flower punch and the large scallop circle punch, I made my layers … it's almost like he is sitting in a flower… I did use a Glimmer Brad, instead of a button…If you haven't tried these you really should… they are the perfect way to add a little glittery shimmer and shine with out all the fuss and muss of glue or glitter….
This 3×3 note card, I think is my favorite of the set. I love how this little snail is inching his way through the garden …a cute little accent for just about any occasion you could think of with little note card…I used the Just Believe Stamp Set for my garden background…and stamped my little snail guy and then …are you ready … I "fussy cut" him out …I know …You know I hate to fussy cut anything …I'm telling you… It all comes from Kindergarten…when I failed straight lines and scissors…scared me for life…
So is the snail cute or what? ….I'm thinking I just might have to make a full size card with him in the garden …
Ok well I'm off for today …and long day of house cleaning that I didn't done yesterday … I ended up driving my friend on a 6 hour turn around trip to Florida, to pick up her truck driver husband… he was in a accident … no worries … he is fine …but his 18 wheeler was not so lucky ….but that's a story for another day …
Reminder….. I have a few spots open in my Royal Stampers on a Not SO Royal Budget Club …so RSVP today to reserve your seat in the Club…
If you have question or comments or want to purchase and of the Stampin Up products I've shown you today….. All you have to do is email me at Sherry@sherrystampinbella.com

Journals For Stampin Up Convention
Ciao Bella,
I have a sort of treat for you today ….. My Sister Demo asked me to make her some 5 x 5 journals for gifts, for when she goes to Stampin Up's convention this week… well When I was finished … I forgot to take pictures to show you …..But what I do Have is design pictures …from the emails as I was creating them ….. these are not the complete finished project… but you get the idea and I still think they look pretty cool ….. So please excuse the back ground and quickie photography…..
This first one uses the Paisley Petals designer series paper and the sentiment is from On the grow from the summer Mini catty…
And those gorgeous Blues are… Island Indigo and Pool party … this years NEW IN COLORS
Don't you just love those Blues… who knew back in April or was it May when Stampin Up was giving the Sneak Peek at this paper that we would also be getting a sneak Peek at the New In Colors …
When it was all said and done this one had some sponging and decorative pearls added….

This one was actually a reject because well it was nice but just didn't have that WOW effect we were looking for …..

This one … the Calypso Coral … Just didn't seem to work and this one was rejected as well….. Well it was Ok… but there just wasn't enough of the Calypso Coral in the Designer Series Paper…and it seems just a little Too bright ….
So What I ended up with was the punched strip under the label being Cherry Cobbler… Of course …I forgot to take a picture… but take my word… it was stunning and defiantly a WOW…..
These were so simple but stunning and perfect for a gift or summer travel log…Oh you know what… They would be perfect for somebody to document a segment of there life … like maybe a High School Senior …the pages inside are made of cardstock so they are sturdy enough and perfect for scrapbooking.
If you would like to learn to make on of these , I would be more than happy to show you … just Email me at Sherry@Sherrystampinbella.com and we will get started right way…

Afterthoughts
Ciao Bella,
Here is the next fun treat I will be offering at my booth at the St Marys 4th of July Festival

These were so fun to make …..all punches and big shot …my kind of cutting…..and I used the stamp set Perfect Words ……

here is a close up , aren't they just fun and pretty…great little gifts for just about anything…..

I have to admit these three here are my favorite ,,, and I used the stamp set Afterthoughts …..I just love both of these sets … they have perfect sentiments for every occasion without being "too much" or too "kiddie"…..
I have to thank my son Patrick for filling the bags for me …..Funny thing is I was just going to leave them random M&Ms in the bags… after he filled them all ..he can to me and said .."Mom I got bored, so I played around with the colors in the bags " By doing that I think some came out extra cute … Thanks Patrick …..by the way… Patrick is 15 and wore food handlers gloves …what a sport…..
If you have any question or would like to purchase either of these stamp sets … just email me at sherry@sherrystampinbella.com
