Who are those Kids?…..

     Last Sunday was my 18th wedding anniversary to my very sweet prince of a husband …and to celebrate 18 years ….. I made a little Scrap page …that will eventually get framed …..

Are you ready to see me in a picture? I know …..Me showing pictures of myself is very rare…..

I know pretty scary…..I look at the photo from 1993, taken 3 days before we got married and it was taken by his stepmother ….who I just met with his father about an hour before the picture was taken …..anyway… I look at that picture and think … Who in the World are those kids…and are they old enough to get married? lol…..

I used the Notable Ornate Stamp Set ….. and the Size of the page is new to me at 8 x 8,  but Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, were the main colors …with some Pretty in Pink accents… Some victoria lace and Baja breeze seem binding ribbon …just for fun …..and of course it wouldn't be me …if I didn't have pearls and rhinestones…  Even with all the girly stuff … my husband loves the page …and it was his idea to frame it …..

Here is just a quick look at a card I design using Mr. Snail , from button buddies… this card was a reject for the FREE CLASS I'm Having on August 23 and 24th …..

He didn't quite make the cut … he is cute, but I wanted something a bit more for the class… He won't be forgotten, he will find a new life as my August Workshop Make and Take….. Snips and Snails

ciao Bella,

         Snips and snails and Puppy dog tails … Isn't that what they say little boys are made of …not today

 I've been working my way through each image in the Button Buddies Stamp Set…This little snail is almost as cute as the little piggy…The snail image can work simply by itself or can be a cute accent in a nature inspired card …

I'll I did here was just stamp the little guy and add a button from our Brights Collection of buttons… Just in case you haven't heard it enough … this stamp set is designed to go with Stampin' Up's Button Collections

I did add two little brads from the Brights collection as well, …just for some added pop…

This time I just stamp my image and punched it out, then using the 5 petal flower punch and the large scallop circle punch, I made my layers … it's almost like he is sitting in a flower… I did use a Glimmer Brad, instead of a button…If you haven't tried these you really should… they are the perfect way to add a little glittery shimmer and shine with out all the fuss and muss of glue or glitter….

This 3×3 note card, I think is my favorite of the set. I love how this little snail is inching his way through the garden …a cute little accent for just about any occasion you could think of with little note card…I used the Just Believe Stamp Set for my garden background…and stamped my little snail guy and then …are you ready … I "fussy cut" him out …I know …You know I hate to fussy cut anything …I'm telling you… It all comes from Kindergarten…when I failed straight lines and scissors…scared me for life… 

So is the snail cute or what? ….I'm thinking I just might have to make a full size card with him in the garden …

Ok well I'm off for today …and long day of house cleaning that I didn't done yesterday … I ended up driving my friend on a 6 hour turn around trip to Florida, to pick up her truck driver husband… he was in a accident … no worries … he is fine …but his 18 wheeler was not so lucky ….but that's a story for another day …

Just believe Post it notes

I made simple Holders for post it notes added a little mini gel pen… to decorate I used the Just Believe Stamp Set…..and a few basic punches….. these are the perfect little Thank You gifts ….. I'm even Thinking the will be my Hostess Gifts for my July Workshops …..

Water Colored On the Grow

Ciao Bella,

         I told you I was working on water coloring…well here it is ….Super,super simple and will be my workshop card for the Month of July …

Isn't it sweet …..and fast as well …..I left off a sentiment on purpose…because I couldn't decide if I wanted the card to be a thank or sympathy or what …this card lends it self to just about everything. The base of the card is Concord Crush and our fantastic water color paper… and of course the punch, which for the life of me at the moment, I can't think of the name …and if you look close …there are even a few pearls in there. The stamp Set is On the Grow from the Summer Mini Catty.

If you think you can't water color … you are wrong …with water color crayons and a blender pen you can create this and all sorts of beautiful water colors …..let me show you how….. I have classes and clubs just for this sort of thing …..

Springtime Vintage Workshop

Ciao Bella,

     I have a super east quick share today , it features the Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper …..This paper is just so spring and makes me want to make a quilt or at least a table cloth ….I don't really sew … but believe it or not I am making a quilt … I'll show you pictures IF I EVER Finish…quilts take a long time …..anyway ….here the card

I used Pear Pizzazz and Melon mambo, with this designer series paper…..The card is so simple that a new stamper could make this card in a matter of minutes…Because it's so easy I will be featuring it in my April Workshops….

           I have been calling all of you in the last couple of days, just to say hello or double check you email address because it was returned for what ever reason ….and there still a few of you that I just can't reach…I will keep trying …

            Thanks to all of you who came out for my Mystery Hostess Workshop last night… we had so much fun, catching up and stamping…we will have to do it again …

           Since I have been on a roll lately with the Just Believe Stamp Set (120453 ) pg.109  in the IB&C,  we had a great time making our own variations of these cards check it out:

Just Believe and you can

            I'm still working on my Fabric projects but I wanted to remind you that today is the last day to RSVP to THE MYSTERY HOSTESS WORKSHOP, that is tomorrow night.  Also If you can't make it but want to be included in the drawing for FREE Stampin Up! Stampin Up! Fabric

         I just LOVE LOVE LOVE, Stampin Up!'s new Designer Fabric …I thought I would show you all the different ways to use this Fabric

So first let me give you the specifics of the fabric…

Now I  didn't make these samples, but I will be using these for inspiration for making my own this weekend…..

Here is Deck the Halls Designer Series Fabric…My Favorite… Oh and I have to mention .. that with each Package of Fabric there are patterns and instructions for all the projects you see in the picture above EXCEPT the book, so the Stocking, bracelet and holiday Ornament … oh and the candy cane flower too…

Ok … Now starting with this picture of the skirt..these are all Pictures from Shellie Gardner's Blog, SoShellie.com. For those of you who don't know, Shellies Gardner is CO-founder and CEO of Stampin' Up …Shellie is one of the those people that make you a better person just by smiling at you.  She's a role model for the human spirit, so I don't think she will mind my sharing with you.

 Don't you just love this skirt,  Look at the detail on the ruffles Not only does it use the new Deck the Halls Fabric but it also so uses the new Seam Binding Ribbon and Crochet Trim, not to mention a few Antique Brads at the bottom.

Here is I think my favorite, It is a little stationary holder.  This is the project I'm working on this weekend. I'm also thinking with the same design and a few tweaks it could also be a cover for a journal, or a book, maybe business cards, check book cover, and If I knew how to sew a zipper a wallet….who knows…I'll show next week what I come up with…

Just Believe Invitations…

            It's another super busy day out for me… So I have just a quick share today…

I am really liking the Just Believe Stamp Set (120453 ) pg.109 in the IB&C, it is so versatile…and there is so much you can do with it …It is one of my favorite stamp sets to "travel with" … a lot of times I go out to stamp…I'm not talking workshops here … I get a little restless always stamping in my studio, so a couple of times a week I just go out to stamp… sometimes it the local coffee house or even just the park when the weather is nice…

Today I have some quick errands but I think I will stop at Uncommon Grounds( the local coffee house) it is so much better than any of those big chains…

anyway the inside is super simple …

I used MY Digital Studio …just to type and print the detail…

Well off I go …

Oh wait .. before I forget….
