Basket full of Paisley Petals

Ciao Bella,

  I have you have those days, where you think you were on the ball, getting the to do list done and maybe getting a half step ahead …..well that was me this morning ….. I had a awesome time creating projects to share with you and designing projects for up coming workshops ….. I go to write this post and bam…..

Ok let me show you todays… super cute project ….and then I'll explain…

Isn't it soooo sooo cute…a basket decorated with the Paisley Petals designer series paper …..and went into the NEW 2011 Idea Book & Catalog, to get the exact name of the die ….. only to discover …this cute little basket and bloom die for my Big Shot RETIRED!!!!!…BAM….. For a Stampin' Up Demonstrator is like tripping over your own feet and loosing "cool points"….

 So let's look at the close up and focus on the great elements that we can still get from the New Idea Book & Catalog …..

I know that the picture is a little Out of focus ….. but I was trying to show you the Glimmer Brad

  and the NEW MINI BRADS…..I punch the flowers out of scrap Paisley Petals, I had lying around after the last couple of projects I made… and thought would they be cute on a basket….With the Big flower, a glimmer brad was a must…..and with the little punched flowers…they are perfect for the NEW MINI BRADS….

to give you a better idea of the size of the New Mini Brads….check this out

 As you know the Glimmer Brads are HUGE….. The Gold Brad is the standard brad size…the colored brads look like they MIGHT be a little bigger….. But those mini Brads are only about 1/3 the size…..they are not difficult to work with …it seems to me the Post-ie bendable parts are wee bit longer than the standard Brads…..and the bend-ie parts … bend so easy ….almost too soft ….in fact I would say that it is perfect …

So what do you think?  too cool …..so maybe just maybe …I got some of those cool points back …..

Artistic Etchings at the Spa

I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July …I know I had a great time at ST Mary's Festival ….Here are some Pictures of my booth…

Between the sun and my photography skills or lack there of …my photos are not the best …I hope you can see how great everything looked …and the Kids had a great time making Build A Bear Puppets…

Here are some items … the ultimate in girly-girl… Featuring the Artistic Etchings Stamp set…

This is a "Spa in a Box"… it has a face mask,nail polish,emery board,lip gloss and tea…everything you need for a little pick me up, spa night at home …A perfect gift for just about any female……

I just love the Pearl Smooch Spritz …it gives it the extra feminine feel…..

This little gem is Basically the same, just smaller… designed for the Little Princess in your life….Nail polish, emery board, lip gloss,…. And ….. Spray on …BODY GLITTER…..They are just perfect for you little Princess next party…or if you just want to spoil your little princess…

Again I use Artistic Etchings stamp set and more pink … I think the line from Steele Magnolias says it best ….." the whole chapel looks like is was spayed down with Peptobismol….."  But can you really have too much pink when you are a princess?

Coasters are back…

    I have my latest version of coasters… they are very popular at the craft fairs and community festivals…..

trinket Charms for your cell phone

Ciao Bella,

   I had so much fun at the Midway Arts Festival …It was a beautiful spring day in Coastal Georgia…..I made all sorts of items for the art festival, some of my most popular items were my cell phone charms …..

 These little gems are made with the trinkets from the Occasional mini catty …..I only have these three left…I sold them for $8.00 and they sold…So if you are interested in purchasing one the 3 remaining trinket cell phone charms email me……. 

Recognize these?….. They are the pearls and beads from the retired Pretties Kit…..They also make perfect Cell phone charms…especially if you are like me and loose your cell phone in the bottom of your purse…the pearls and ribbon show up great against the dark fabric that seams to be in every purse…..again I only have these 3 left and they are $6.00 if you are interested…..They would make a great gift for the girl who has everything ….. 

Last I have these Little Pretties…little decorative pins…perfect addition to the summer sweater,jacket or even sun dress….Believe or not all my blue ribbon ones sold out…. More Jolly Bingo Bits Candles

               Today I have a few more candle sets featuring the Jolly Bingo Stamp Set ….

I made these as gifts for the Craft Fairs that I have been attending …they are Super Duper Simple and Oh So Cute and Elegant at the same time. I used the Jolly Bingo Bits Stamp Set in the Holiday Mini Catalog…

Dashing and Dasher

   What a weekend, It was so great to meet so many of you this week at the Hinesville Oktober Fest…We are going to have so much fun this holiday season … I can't wait till your workshops…

Today I thought I would share my booth from the Fest…

This was the Card and Gift Side of my booth….

This is my demonstration area… The Big Shot was a big Hit, That is my son Patrick in the Background…He is such a good kid, he came with me both days just to help me set up and tear down and not to forget the occasional bathroom break …lol…..

Over here was the "retired" table ….everything from stamps to accessories…

Here is a card I made and sold in Packs in 10 with envelopes….

Hinesville Oktober Fest and Craft Fair…

             Today is the day… I will have a booth today and tomorrow at the Hinesville OktoberFest….I will have lots of new items for sale…and lots of Demonstrations … Including the Big Shot ….

Ronald Mac Donald House

Ciao Bella,

 I want you to meet Sherrill Graff, she is the list mom for the yahoo group Late Night Stampers.  Sherrill and the Late Night Stampers every year before convention have "pre convention" activities, and this year I got to be an instructor for the stamp camps.

The Project that is was one of the instructors for was an exploding box scrapbook page…

Isn't it just darling ….And Many of the stamp camp Participants who were on information overload asked if I would post a tutorial on how to make it.

and I will but before I do …I thought since I had quite a few kits left over I thought I would offer these kits with the tutorial as a fundraiser for the Ronald MacDonald Charities.  So that means that I will sell selling these kits and the proceeds will be used to purchase stamps, paper and ink or any other Stampin' Up products that the Kids at the Ronald MacDonald House want or need.  With the Holidays right around the corner wouldn't be great to let these kids have a "glittery" good time …..So order you kit to help these kids enjoy the Holidays…

Fabric Flowers and a day at the Spa

    Today is just a quick share on some projects that I made for the Hinesville Farmer's Market…..

          This First one, I used the BIG SHOT with the (113439) with the Stampin' Up Flower Folds Die (115970) and the Stampin Up Beautiful Butterflies Die(114507)… to make the fabulous pins…..

Next is what I call my "Spa in a Box", inside has nail polish, nail file, facial mask, hair band,tea bag , lip gloss and of course it wouldn't be complete without a few pieces of Chocolate…..

I used Stampin' Up Vintage Vogue stamp set( 118598) in clear mount, pixie pink ribbon, …..I just love this … and it is perfect gift for just about anything ….

The Color Is…

Ciao Bella,

   OM Goodness, Who knew that Stampin' Up's Color Renovation and my wall color to match the curtains in my dinning room would have such a response… I want to thank everyone who left a comment. I loved reading each and everyone…I have taken everybody's comments to heart, and my DH's opinion …He love blue, so …. The Color is my the overwhelming popularity…

Thanks again for all your help, I will post pictures when I'm done painting and finish decorating the room…..It will be the first room … when we bought the house all the wall in the dinning room are this flat Grape/royal purple….and it …well just has to go ….So I'm hoping to get it done before my Hostess Appreciation Day on May 1st…keep you fingers crosses…
