what to do?

Ciao Bella,

  It is 2 months short of a year since I stopped being a stampin' Up demonstrator……I really miss it, but I miss more are all my sister demos…it had seemed that most of my social life was with them either on line or in person…..So now the question is what to do with this blog?….Why do I keep it?.One of the reasons is …it's part of my resume … I can use it to show that I have online marketing and social media skills….another reason… it's really pretty and I guess I'm just not ready to let it go yet……

So what do I blog about now ?  What does a stay at home mom, who is looking to return to the work force blog about?

My wishing to loose weight?…..no body really wants to read or really see that…yuck

My crazy life…. sort of a on line journal ?…….Not a Chance…Possible employers would think I was nuts!!!  I'm not but those of you who know me and my sense of humor…know that if you don't me …don't always get myself deprecating or sarcastic humor….So since I'm trying to find a job this has to more about Professional Sherry ….

What about if I blog about the struggles of finding a job?…..not a real fun topic…..

So I'm thinking …..unless somebody gives me a better idea…I will focus on what makes me happy and maybe here and there I will throw in a little job hunting status update….

So what is making me happy today?

This is what I call Evan's Poppies….Last spring my son Evan and I planted a poppy plant and it only gave us about 5 blooms before the Georgia heat got to it …but we hoped that it had bloomed enough to leave seeds for this spring … well it did…we actually have 2 poppy plants this year,,, who knows maybe we will have 4 next year….anyway I took this photo …yes I really took it on my phone's camera …so I could text it to him for him to see…Evan won't be home from ASU until late May …isn't it gorgeous poppy? it also looks like I need to go pull a weed or two …can you see the little clover peeking through?

Well I guess I will leave you for today… I have to go hunt for some FREE photo software, the software on this laptop just isn't working for me …

          for those of you who are fallowing me trying to get to my son to Arizona so he can get to Arizona State University ….we made it with no problems 

here are a few pictures of interesting items …to me anyway ….

Here is the Mississippi River …..and that was one scary bridge…….not looking forward to crossing it going back to GA.

 Ok now these creepy pics…… let me explain … on I-10  between Wilcox and Tucson AZ, there is this….. For 300 miles before there are billboards telling you to come see the "thing" …..it has be there since the 50's….. I was born and raised in AZ and my parents would never ever stop to see it …. well dag nab it …I was stopping and making my kids see the thing …and yes it was just an old mummy of and Asian immigrant from mining and railroad days in the early west ….

   We did it ….jeep is packed, Son ready…away we go ……I'm so proud and excited for my son …..Since you all helped make it happen … I will share some pictures later on …..

… OK …. just to let you know …Everything has been mailed …..and as I look around I see a few things I could have sworn I sold ….and I checked the invoices many times to be sure …so Please let me know ….and I will send it in August when I return ….. My email has a vacation auto reply on it , but I will be able to check it and reply back once in AZ ….

 

when i return , I will be continuing with selling off my stash …..and since I have 4 days of driving ..each way … It gives me plenty of time to think about a better way to do this …..

            just a little note today…..I'm heading out to the post office today ….so your goodies will be on their way …

            My next posting of new items for sale …will be Monday …..My hope is that it will be the final posting ….I was a demo for 10yrs…so it's only been the tip of the iceberg…..I'm not one of the neat and clean craft room kinda people …so I need to clean up, get organized ..and take more than 100 photos … I still have things like paper cutters, scoring tools, dies, tins, and demo supplies … not to mention momento mall items …..

I have one last road block , I need to get my son to college …he has been accepted and has a good bit of finical aide…..but what he doesn't have and I don't have it either is the funding to get him to Arizona… (we live in GA) …..SO… I will be selling off all my Stampin Up Stash….All of it …..stamps … ink…dies..paper …punches ….I mean everything …..plus some polish pottery …….

     I told you another crazy week here at the Stampin Bella Household …..it has been all doctors and pharmacies… nothing serious ….just a royal pain in the you know where …..so Today ….I have a little game …Let's Play Where's My Highlander?…..

Remember I told you about my High School Senior having to dress up like a Highlander for the School pep rally …..and I was banned from going and watching the event? … well my secret agent(my 10th grade son) with the spy cam had a reaction to his medication and could not be at the pep rally… but did time his illness during the pep rally so I had to be at the school to pick him up …..So to honor my Senior Highlanders ban request…..I took these picture from the second floor of the school …where he wouldn't see me ….and I only have a little point and shoot camera …I so wish I had a real zoom lens …and I'm still waiting on pictures from the school with close ups ……. So which child is mine, in this crowd shot? ….. It took me several minutes …to find him to take the picture …..lol

yep you found him ….. The electric blue pony tail  and green sash and plastic swords….and I know you really can't see it … a skirt!!!!! well it's suppose to be a kilt but he used a girls school uniform skirt…..and his face was painted in school colors…..think brave heart goes to the electric blue pep rally and becomes the school mascot …..I am very proud of my highlander … it takes a lot for a high school kids these days to dress in drag…..and I am happy to report …The Senior class won the school spirit stick at the pep rally …..

Christmas eye candy !!!!!

 

This has to be one of the easiest Christmas cards I ever made …..I used the new Stocking punch in the Holiday Mini Catalog with red Glimmer paper to create the stocking ….ran some Whisper White in the Poinsettia Embossing folder through the big shot ….read red for the card Base and ribbon and done ….. super simple and you could knock out you entire Christmas card list in a very short amount of time …….

Tomorrow I will take this card up a notch ….so don't forget to come back and visit …..
