I hope everyone had a great weekend…..Before I get into todays project… I want to be a Proud Mama and gush for a minute …My Youngest son Patrick, was selected to join the National Honor Society…and tonight is his induction ceremony …..I think I'm more excited than he is …..so you know there will be a scrap book page in the making there …..ok moving on
Today's Card I used Field flowers again … but I wanted to use a different color …..
I used Baja Breeze …..Look what lovely flowers, it makes ….. I wanted the card to be simple…Now I did use the Distressing kit with the tea stain and distressing stamp on the First edition layer …and that is so simple and fun to make the aged or vintage look ….
Now I really like this card … but looking at it again this morning while I'm sitting here typing this … I'm thinking it might not be finished …..I'm thinking it needs just a little something more…. So I guess in a little while I will take another look and see what happens …..I'll be sure to show you …if I add or change anything …..
Don't forget registration is Now Open for the Christmas Extravaganza stamp camp on Nov. 5th ….you can find all the detail in about 2 post back… I'm working on a side bar widget to make it easier for you
Have a great week everybody …..
I think I have found a new stamp set to add to the Favorites List ….. Field Flowers …..
A simple layout … perfect for that moment of time … and Yes I still think this stamp's sets images are soothing …..It is only a 6 X 6 page ….that I think would be great framed ……I think this page is almost romantic or nostalgic….
I have to say, I think Tangerine Tango with Crumb Cake or Early Espresso is a new fall favorite color combination …..
For the accent flower… I stamp off on of the flower images in Tangerine Tango , Fussy cut it and then sponged the edges with Early Espresso …and Adding the Antique Brad ….I really love the look of it …..
Don't forget registration is open for the Christmas Extravaganza stamp and Scrap Camp …..On November 5th…..
Have a great weekend everybody…and don't forget to get your silly on …..
